In part 1 of our 4 part series we begin our discussion on the grid system in Bootstrap 3. This is one of the strongest aspects of the Bootstrap framework as it allows for a very quick and stable design of our page layouts. Understanding the grid system in Bootstrap is a very important aspect of getting the most out of the Framework and all it has to offer. We begin our discussion by demonstrating the 12 column system and discussing the classes that are available to assist in our layouts. We demonstrate the correlation between the container and the rows classes and how they interact with the column class in Bootstrap.
